There is a moment in time when the growth of a family shifts their lifestyle needs dramatically, altering the dynamics of what the family home must provide. The Den Interiors worked closely with Modhaus builders, known for their architecturally designed builds and contemporary home renovations, to transform a small workers cottage into a bold two storey modern extension that would contrast and pay homage to both periods of architecture and design, whilst amply accommodating a family of five.

The Den Interiors selected all furnishings to highlight the industrial yet modern brief provided. Through collaboration with furniture makers and lighting designers, natural light sources are enhanced by neutral furnishings and accentuated with statement features such as industrial appliances and mid-century lighting.

With linear accents throughout the interior floorplan to modernise this renovation, the dreams of a family have been realised in this unique and inspiring home.
